历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，清光绪十年（1884年），广东水师提督郑绍忠（绰号“大口金”）倡议在这里办圩，以其父郑隆安之名称隆安圩，后取安乐、太平之意叫乐平隆安圩，简称乐平圩。[1]
1983年3月，汉南、企岗、水西三个大队合并，成立乐平乡人民政府；1987年2月改为乐平村民委员会；1989年8月改称乐平管理区办事处；1996年8月复称村民委员会。[2]2004年7月，与乐平社区居民委员会合署办公。[2]相关社区见乐平社区。
