历史沿革[edit]
保安乡农民协会1951年成立，1957年改为乡人民政府，归南边区公所管辖；1958年改为保安大队；1960至1962年南边分设黄塘公社，保安大队一度归黄塘公社，1963年复归南边公社。[2]1980年底保安大队分为保安、八乡、麦岗、小陆坑四个大队，1983年再合并成立保安乡人民政府；1987年设村民委员会，1990年改设管理区办事处，1997年复设村民委员会。[2]
经济与建设[edit]
保安村完成了50户农房的外观提升。对小陆坑片区的村级工业园，村里配合镇政府的办法是先租下村集体土地、清退原有企业，再整体招商改造，据称改造后园区的土地租金比此前增长17倍。[1]2024年8月，村入选「佛山市百千万工程第二批典型镇村」。[1]
