横安村是江门市开平市马冈镇所辖的行政村之一，村委会在镇区东北面，距镇政府3公里[1]。下分7个村民小组，村情材料记载人口3080人、750户，耕地1600亩[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

名称来自原村民委员会曾设在横安村[1]。

清代隶属开平县长静都，民国年间划入开平县第二区。新中国成立后归第一区。1958年的公社化时期，李边是一个生产大队，横安、横塘、上安、竹安、南边几个村组成三安大队；到1963年，这两个大队连同曲水围合编为横安大队，曲水围在1975年分出，另立一队。进入八十年代，先在1984年设乡，1989年改为管理区，1993年随开平设市归入马冈镇，1999年起称村民委员会[1]。

村委会管辖区的人口为3080人（750户），其中劳动力约1300人[1][2]。

村集体2009年的收入为3.5万元，农民人均年收入为2200元[1]；村里有党员48人[1]。
