平沙村是佛山市南海区西樵镇辖下的行政村。当地土质含沙多，地势平坦，因此称平沙。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国十六年（1927年）归八区先登堡管，新中国成立初属先登乡，1953年土改后另立平沙乡。1958年秋叫平沙大队；1961年8月缩小编制，分成共丰、联丰、星光三队，1963年再合并。[1]
1983年成立平沙乡，其后改称行政村、管理区，1999年5月设村民委员会。2019年9月，平沙村进入广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
