水美村是广东省汕头市潮南区红场镇的行政村。位于红场镇东部，距镇政府驻地约5公里，属山地丘陵区的纯农山区村。[1]

村处溪流下游，原名水尾村，后改雅称水美。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清顺治年间（1644—1661）立村。1950年起归雷岭乡；1958年公社化，并入水头大队；1983年起隶水头乡；1986年起设水美村委会；1992年划入水头管理区；1999年又恢复村委会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，全村共有1338人（235户），山地2705亩，耕地65亩。[1]

村民以李姓为主，收入主要靠外出务工，种植青梅、杨梅、龙眼、油甘等。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局将其列为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
