金埔村是广东省汕头市潮南区红场镇的行政村。在红场镇西部，毗邻普宁市，距镇政府驻地约23公里，属山地丘陵区的纯农山区村。^[1]

当地原是放牛的埔地，叫牛埔，后改雅称金埔。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清乾隆三十五年（1770）立村。1950年起归石船乡；1958年公社化，并入埔姜坪大队；1983年起隶苏明乡；1986年起设金埔村委会；1992年划入苏明管理区；1999年又恢复村委会。^[1]

据博雅地名网所载，全村共有709人（127户），山地1594亩，耕地62亩。^[1]

村民以刘姓为主，收入主要靠外出务工，种植青梅、杨梅、龙眼、油甘等。^[1]
