上底村在司马浦镇镇区西北面，面积0.503平方千米，有346户、1999人。[1]村子位于低洼地的上方，故名上底。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，上底创村于明洪武年间，即1368年至1398年间，明清至民国初年属潮阳县洋乌都，1921年属潮阳县第九区。[1]村级建制的演变，自近及远是：1999年恢复村委会，1986年改村委会，1983年属三联乡，1958年公社化时称上底大队，1950年属溪尾乡。[1]

经济[edit]

三联路穿过村境连接国道324线，农业以水稻为主，工业有服装、文胸等。[1]上底村在2020年至2022年连续入选淘宝村名单。[1]
