窖洋村在司马浦镇镇区北面，练江南岸，面积1.727平方千米，有1242户、7312人，辖4个自然村。[1]村地势低洼，村中曾有一处地窖，故名窖洋。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，窖洋创村于元至正年间，即1341年至1369年间，明清至民国初年属潮阳县洋乌都，1921年属潮阳县第九区。[1]村级建制的演变，自近及远是：1999年恢复村委会，1986年改村委会，1983年称窖洋乡，1958年公社化时称窖洋大队，1950年，窖上、洋乌洲、新住、窖下同属上练乡。[1]村被列为革命老区村。[1]

经济[edit]

农业以水稻、生柑为主，工业有塑料、文胸、服装等行业。[1]窖洋村在2021年和2022年连续入选淘宝村名单。[1]
