新地村是广东省汕头市潮阳区海门镇下辖的行政村。据说先人从胪岗迁来此地垦荒，故取名新地。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

唐代到元代，这里归潮阳县新兴乡；明清直至民国初年，先后隶属县廓都和附廓都。1950年立新地村，隶潮阳县第二区外四乡；1960年改为大队，属海门公社；1983年成为海门镇的管理区；1986年恢复村名，1999年起为新地村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，新地村名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」；2022年8月又被确定为当年的创建单位；2026年1月，村里获「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」称号。[1]
