孔塘村在乌迳镇东面，离圩镇约8公里，辖12个村民小组，488户2222人（博雅地名网村情介绍，未注明年份）。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村中赖姓居住年代久远，祖上推崇孔学，尊奉孔子，于是把“董塘”的读音转成“孔塘”。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年设孔塘农会，1954年转为初级社，1956年转为高级社，1963年转为大队，1983年转为乡，1988年转为管理区，1998年12月管理区改制，设孔塘村委会。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
山林7565.5亩、耕地2133.3亩。2021年9月，孔塘村（猕猴桃）列入「第二批广东省一村一品、一镇一业专业村」名单；2019年9月列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」。[1]
