庙前村在乌迳镇东南，离圩镇约7.5公里，辖9个村民小组，350户1680人（博雅地名网村情介绍，未注明年份）。[1]
地名由来[edit]
早年这里有一座供四邻村民祭拜的庙，后人在庙的前面建起村子，以此为名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年设庙前农会，1955年转为初级社，1956年转为高级社，1958年转为大队，1983年实行政社分设，改称乡，1988年转为管理区，1998年12月管理区改制，设庙前村委会。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
林地较多，山林8900亩、耕地1721亩，种黄烟、水稻、花生、辣椒。2019年9月，庙前村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」。[1]
