1949年成立鱼塘农会，1954年转为初级社，1956年转为高级社，1961年转为鱼塘大队，1983年转为乡，1988年转为管理区，1998年管理区改制，设鱼塘村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
村内林地10234亩、耕地2653亩，以黄烟为主要经济作物，兼种水稻、花生、辣椒。[1]
