乌迳村是乌迳镇政府驻地一带的行政村，分为5个村民小组，460户2130人（博雅地名网村情介绍，未注明年份）。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村情介绍称，此地在浈江冲积平原上，土壤乌黑，同周围的红壤、黄壤形成反差；从新田去信丰方向，两侧低山丘陵夹着一条狭长通道，当地习称“迳”，于是以乌迳为名，后来又成为这一带行政区域的名称。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1955年设乌迳初级社，1956年转为高级社，1961年转为乌迳大队，1983年转为乌迳乡，1988年转为管理区，1998年12月管理区改制，设乌迳村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
村内山林3200亩、耕地1108亩，以种植黄烟为主，兼种水稻、花生、辣椒，并有劳务输出。[1]
