历史沿革[edit]

1949年至1957年，这里是东方乡；1958年至1983年改称东方大队；1983年复称乡，1986年起为村委会；1993年改称东方管理区，1998年改名东方村委会，名称沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

东方村以蔬菜产业入选「首批广东省一村一品、一镇一业专业村」，名单由省农业农村厅在2020年8月公布。[1]
