石塘村是仁化县石塘镇的行政村，城乡分类为镇乡结合区，村中的石塘古村在丹霞山西北约20公里的小盆地里，相传由明洪武年间迁来的李可求一支开基。[1][2]2010年，石塘村入选第五批中国历史文化名村，2012年列入第一批中国传统村落名录。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：村内原有一片烂泮田，田中有水塘，塘里石笋形态各异，故名石塘。[1]新中国成立后，这里属仁化县第二区，称石烟乡；1958年为石塘大队；1984年改石塘乡，1986年设石塘村委会；1989年设管理区，1998年撤管理区，重设村委会，名称沿用至今。[1]

姓氏宗族[edit]

古村的李氏，据族谱所述，始迁祖李可求于明洪武年间（1368年起）自福建上杭胜运里丰朗村迁入仁化石塘。他的兄弟分迁他处：可留去夏富，可行去曲江周田，可纯去广州陈村。可求生殿承、府判，殿承生小十郎，小十郎之子李自性（法名季五郎）起，村里开始建祠堂。[2]第十二世李大用在高门槛建了三多堂。高门槛共有7级台阶，从南面上去是先三级、后四级；过去外人自称石塘人，当地人常以台阶数目相问。[2]另据1932年《仁化县志》，李氏始迁祖李可求是南宋时自江西樟树镇迁来，两说并存。[4]

建筑与规模[edit]

古村占地约15公顷，据介绍现有人口3400多人，到清咸丰年间已成千户之村，是仁化县最大的自然村。[2]村中保存明、清至民国的古建筑133座，其中106座保存较好，另有古宗祠8座。[2][4]房屋多带青砖马头墙，这是徽派建筑的特点；梁架、藻井的做法近于福建，一些夯土砖屋则是客家的样式。[2]

羊城晚报2014年的报道称，据文史学者龙兆康考证，古村鼎盛时祠堂有9座，街巷12条，炮楼、门楼各7处，闸门25处，并分成火冲、大园、早禾田等12个相对独立的「阁」，街巷纵横交错，外人容易迷路；明末清初已有户数过千，康乾年间发展到顶峰，有「粤北第一村」之称。三角街长约200米，清末是村里最热闹的商业街；三多堂前有一口修于洪武十五年（1382年）的高门槛水井，井水至今用于酿堆花酒。[9]清咸丰九年（1860年），石达开的太平军进攻石塘，村北的鹏风寨（今称大寨顶）失守，半个村子被烧毁，全村死了约三分之一的人；此后族人才修建了双峰寨。同一报道说，建国后古村的建筑曾遭三次破坏：「文革」时期、1993年古物商贩上门收购门窗神龛等构件、1998年村民为领水泥奖励而拆老屋。[9]

名胜古迹[edit]

双峰寨在村内，原名荣阳寨，俗称石塘寨，是一座带主楼和四座炮楼的寨堡，2006年列入「第六批全国重点文物保护单位」。关于修建经过，百度百科称1894年筹建、1899年奠基、1910年竣工，历时16年；维基百科和博雅地名网则说1899年动工，用时约12年；耗资均称三万两（或三万）。[5][6][7]1927年后，石塘乡农会领导农民退入寨内，抵抗当时的镇压，前后9个月。[7]

龙母庙又称娘娘庙，在村内早禾田村小组，始建于清代，民国时重建。[8]村里还流传着石塘月姐歌和土法酿制的堆花米酒。[2]

县政府网站记，石塘月姐歌是村里妇女的传统民间艺术，用石塘方言演唱，相传唐代宫女月莲流落到此，把宫中曲调教给村中妇女；每年农历八月初一到十五的晚上演唱，只有女人唱，男人不得进入歌坛；2009年初被列为广东省非物质文化遗产。[10]龙母庙面阔13米，进深10.6米，占地约137.8平方米，三开间歇山顶，庙内供龙母娘娘、九子娘娘和将军像。[10]

  • 2019年9月，广东省文化和旅游厅将其列为首批「广东省文化和旅游特色村」；2022年11月，文化和旅游部公布其为「第四批全国乡村旅游重点村」；2024年4月，进入「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1]

县政府网站的介绍称，石塘村有户籍人口3800多人，古建筑共133座（保存完好者106座），是韶关全市仅有的中国历史文化名村，也是首批中国传统村落、广东旅游名村、广东十大最具特色古村落，并在2016至2020年的南粤古驿道定向大赛中被评为最佳推广站点。[10]

著名人物[edit]

李仲生（1911—1984），石塘村人，少年随父习国画和书法，1930年入广州美术专科学校，次年入上海美专绘画研究所。[1]
