历史沿革[edit]
明代是南海县金利司苏山堡的辖地；康熙二十五年（1686年）新设花县，苏山堡随之改属花县；同治年间划回南海，隶属金利司的桃子堡；民国17年（1928年）后归第二区官窑乡；1953至1956年为第九区象安乡[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
村简介称，农户680余户，常住人口2490人；村内有和顺卫生站和石塘幼儿园，当地自称水果之乡[1]。
