八二村是雅韶镇辖下的行政村，与八一村同出于1958年的一次分组。1999年设立村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
地名由来[edit]
八二村与八一村原属同一组村落，即鸥村等八个自然村。1958年底，其中沿海前线的石塘、陂头、潮蒲三村编为二大队，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放后此地同为雅八乡的一部分。1958年体制调整时，八二大队由雅八乡析出，归大沟公社管辖；1983年改设乡政府，归雅韶区；1986年改为八二管理区，1999年起才有村民委员会的建制。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，八二村上榜「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
