团结村属广州市增城区中新镇，是镇辖的行政村。博雅地名网所载村情记其面积4平方千米，耕地约2800亩，户籍人口2006人（456户），流动人口600人，下辖8个自然村、16个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名沿用了当年团结农业生产合作社的名称。[1]

团结在解放初期属新三区的竹林乡。1955年农业合作社改称团结高级农业合作社，1958年公社化后设团结大队，隶属中新公社；1983年改称乡，1987年撤乡设村，团结村民委员会隶属中新镇。[1]
