中新社区是广州市增城区中新镇镇中心区的社区居委会辖区，社区名取自它所处的位置：在石桥、坑贝、大同、福新等村的中间，读音与“中新”相谐。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1983年设立中新居委会，属当时的中新区；1987年撤区改镇后，归中新镇管辖。2002年改称中新社区居民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 广州市绿色社区：2022年11月，经市住建部门认定。[1]
  • 广州市充分就业社区：列入2024年的认定名单，时间为当年11月。[1]
