邓村是广州市从化区太平镇下辖的行政村。[1] 全村面积约5平方千米，下设8个经济社，村委会介绍的人口为1057人（该介绍未注明年份）。村委会距从化城区约10公里。[1]

村委会称这里是太平镇北部最偏远的村委会，只有一条过境公路。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，1958年建立邓村村民委员会，到1967年改设为红卫大队，到1974年恢复原名，到1983年12月归入元洲岗，改名元洲岗乡，到1987年1月分出后改名邓村村民委员会，此名沿用到现在。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2019年9月，邓村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
  • 2021年12月，邓村获「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号（广东省爱卫会）。[1]

经济[edit]

据村委会介绍，村集体经济靠引进手工业胶花增加收入；附近房地产开发时，富余劳动力到房地产公司务工。村里山上有水源林，水田种水稻、花生、蔬菜和火龙果，鱼塘养四大家鱼。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

邓村邓氏宗祠建于明代，2002年7月列入第六批广州市文物保护单位名单。[1][2]
