光辉村是广州市从化区城郊街道北部的行政村，南有大广高速，西有京港澳高速经过。[1]土地面积449公顷，分设12个经济社，2017年底户籍人口2005人。[1]

村名因1953年土地改革后成立小乡，取名光辉，寓意前途光明。[2]这里原属广州市横江农场，2004年9月划入城郊街道。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

土改结束的1953年，这里设光辉小乡；1958年改为光辉大队，隶城郊公社，次年转入横江农场。1983年12月，光辉与新星两队合成光辉乡，1987年1月，光辉独立设村民委员会。[2]

经济[edit]

村以荔枝和稻谷种植为主，水网密布。[1]村里先有大丘园的火龙果基地，2009年又办起「田心农家乐」，村民人均收入由3700元升到9800多元。[2]2020年8月，光辉村以火龙果入选首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[2]

民俗与荣誉[edit]

村里正月初十有上灯节。[1]2023年5月，光辉村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[2]
