历史沿革[edit]
相传庾泰在此建立新村，称「新泰」，后「泰」简写为「太」。1987年设黄村、新泰两个村委会，1992年黄村并入，称新太村。[1]
经济[edit]
村内农业为水稻、蔬菜、花卉与鱼塘养殖，工业有皮革、食品、生铁制造和五金加工。2023年8月获2022年度「广州市美丽乡村」称号，2024年3月命名为2023年广东省卫生村。[1]
著名人物[edit]
搜狐号文章记有举人黄中孚（1825年中举）和曾在朝鲜战场负伤三次的庾保平等。[2]
