下六村位于榕城南区，东、北两面临榕江南河，江岸线长约3800米，隔潮阳一桥与对岸相望，属城乡结合区村。[1]
人口民族[edit]
村域面积3340亩，居民10850人、2280户，下设七个经联社。[1]
经济[edit]
近年参与新农村建设，改造旧厕池，新建公厕，还疏通排水沟，整治村容村貌，并规划建设下六文化活动中心。2009年，区委与区政府指定本村为新农村建设示范点。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放初属十五区。1958年组建下六大队，归安乐公社；1983年社改区时改称下六乡，属仙桥区；1986年设下六村委会，隶仙桥镇；2003年设下六村，属仙桥街道。[1]
2020年9月、2021年10月与2022年10月，下六村先后入选淘宝村名单。「广东省卫生村」（2023年）的称号于2024年3月授予本村。[1]
