华岭村位于炭步镇西南部，东接三联、新太，西临大涡，南邻骆村，面积约5.32平方千米，下辖9个村民小组。^[1]村内的「贞寿之门」牌坊（1840年）于2008年12月公布为第七批广州市文物保护单位。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村民相传六百多年前祖先自骆村分支而来，先到巴岭下的藏峰，后在此建村。村名据说因夏秋之际村后山岗上岗稔花盛开，称花岭，「花」「华」相通而成华岭。^[1]

西二环高速公路和花都大道从村旁经过；花都大道两侧种植花卉六百多亩，工业有造纸、金属电镀等企业。^[1]

「贞寿之门」牌坊在华岭山下，属古建筑。^[1]搜狐号文章还提到村内有同治年间钦赐的光禄大夫家庙，纪念晚清重臣骆秉章；骆秉章道光十二年（1832年）中进士，曾任湖南巡抚。^[2]
