历史沿革[edit]
大涡村约二百年前立村。1987年设太平庄、讴村、大涡三个村委会，1992年撤销前两者，合并为大涡村。[1]
经济[edit]
村内特色工业为纺织，辖区内有益彰纺织、协宏染织等企业；花都大道和西二环高速公路是主要交通道路。[1]
文化[edit]
搜狐号文章称村内有大涡圩，2015年曾在村里发现约2.1亿年前的生物化石。[2]
