历史沿革[edit]
村名与赤岭山有关：赤即红，赤岭又名红峰，村委会驻在赤岭，因而得名。1987年设红峰村委会，隶属炭步区公所。[1]
经济[edit]
村内农业以水稻、蔬菜、花卉和鱼塘养殖为主，工业有建材和毛巾等企业；村曾获省文明村、广州市模范村等称号。2023年5月获2022年广东省卫生村称号。[1]
