潭山村在番禺区化龙镇，面积约3.5平方千米，下辖9个村民小组。村子已有九百多年历史，2012年被评为广东省历史文化名村，以潭山飘色、乞巧闻名。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

相传南宋初年，许姓始祖从南雄府始兴县许堂村迁来建村；因村内小山岗形似寿星公，初名寿山堡，又因村后有山、村前有深潭，改名潭山。[1]也有报道称村子始建于北宋中期。[2]1949年为潭山乡，1961年为化龙公社下的潭山大队，1987年成立村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

2022年的报道说，村实行二级经济，户籍人口4600余人，外来务工人员约1.1万；村级工业园、厂房商铺租金和土地发包是集体收入的来源，2021年收入约2600万元，含二级经济。[2]潭山村列入2022年淘宝村名单，2026年1月又被评为广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]

文化[edit]

飘色和乞巧都在番禺区的非遗名录中，飘色另进广州市名录；每年农历三月廿三的「娘玛诞」举行飘色巡游。[2]2006年，村飘色队的《争荣弃耻》《七姐下禺山》两板飘色参加全国飘色（抬阁）艺术展演，获中国民间文艺山花奖；2010年，乞巧贡案《长生殿》又得第十届山花奖的工艺美术作品奖。[2]潭山村曾获「广东省民族民间艺术之乡」称号。[2][3]

村综合文化中心二、三楼的村史博物室面积283平方米，陈列农耕用具、蚝壳、清代官帽与圣旨、「番禺城砖」古砖等。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

旧村留有里坊门楼26处。15处古建筑被番禺区登记为文物保护单位，如许氏大宗祠、潭山会堂和几座公祠。[2]许氏大宗祠2011年在广荫堂基础上重建，中堂悬挂32块功名牌匾。[2]潭山村的名村保护规划（2021至2035年）划出2片核心保护区，合计5.04公顷。[2]
