眉山村又名苏坑，在番禺区化龙镇西南部，毗邻石碁、南村，处金山大道中段。明洪武二十二年（1389年）建村，后以苏轼故籍眉山为村名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
洪武二十二年，苏姓退役军人聚居在山间盆地，建村称苏坑；一说先祖自顺德碧江迁来，在山坑地建村故名。[1]后来村人奉苏轼为祖，改用苏轼故籍四川眉山县的名字。[1]1949年称眉山乡，1961年称眉山大队，1987年起为村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
2009年全村1453人、473户，种养面积1228亩（花卉656亩、鱼塘300亩）；工农业总产值约2.47亿元，村集体收入376万元。[1]眉山村于2020年、2021年和2022年列入淘宝村名单。[1]
