山门村在番禺区化龙镇南部，与石楼镇、石碁镇相邻，旧称闫门、石门，因有镇守山丘门户之势得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明洪武年间开村。万历三十三年（1605年）一度改称石门，光绪三十一年（1905年）以后一直称山门。[1]20世纪50年代末起，村先后隶属化龙、明经、化龙等公社，曾称向东大队；1980年恢复山门之名，1987年成立村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
2010年全村1330人、442户，种植面积1237亩，花卉占了1085亩，鱼塘另有1087亩；2008年的工业产值为2.98亿元，农业产值1384万元。村内有好太太集团等企业。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
李宗礼家族墓在六子岗，属明代古墓葬，共8座墓。[1]群庐在下街，建于20世纪30年代，中西合璧风格，是李辅群在家乡修建的住所。[1]
