盛龙社区在番禺区化龙镇镇中心，由原珠江甘蔗试验场的居民安置后设立，名称取「盛世化龙」之意。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区的前身是珠江甘蔗试验场。2008年，场内居民配合政府征地，整体迁入草堂村与水门村之间新建的珠江场安置区；为便于管理，当年设立盛龙社区，沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

盛龙社区在2024年11月的广州市充分就业社区（村）认定中入选。[1]
