化龙社区是番禺区化龙镇镇中心的社区，因靠近镇中心而得名，2002年命名，沿用至今。[1]

社区名称取自所在的化龙镇中心，2002年定名。[1]

经济[edit]

广州市住房和城乡建设局于2021年11月把化龙社区定为当年的广州市绿色社区；在2024年11月的广州市充分就业社区（村）认定中入选。[1]
