洋田村是广州市黄埔区新龙镇的行政村，在镇的中部东侧，东邻增城区中新镇山美村，因村建在湖洋田而得名，村域总面积7.5平方公里[1][2][3]。

历史沿革[edit]

清乾隆年间，涂氏建上屋，李氏建佛子庄，廖氏建白石岗，陈氏建坳背。民国及以前，洋田一带通称佛子庄，包括冯塘、下围、张屋等8处聚落，名称来自村里供的一尊佛像[4]。1957年设洋田乡高级社，隶镇龙乡；1958年改大队；1984年建洋田乡；1989年起称村委会[4]。此后归属数变：2004年划入增城市中新镇，2005年转到萝岗区九龙镇，2015年9月黄埔区接管，2019年起隶属新龙镇[4]。

人口与经济[edit]

村户籍人口3662人（所记年份不明），佛子庄一带属革命老区。村内北面是山地和柯木窿水库，南面是耕地和村庄，蔬菜种植面积2000多亩[2]。2007年洋田村被定为广州市20个蔬菜专业村之一；村内有一处野生稻自然保护区，可供水稻遗传育种研究[2]。

荣誉[edit]

  • 2019年12月，获认定为「全国乡村治理示范村」[1]。
  • 2020年8月，入选首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单（蔬菜）[1]。
