历史沿革[edit]
1952年，福洞与福山、大涵同属福山乡；1956年起组福山高级农业合作社，1958年另立福洞大队；1984年三个大队合为福洞乡，后改称福山乡，乡府在福洞下坊；1986年末拆分，福洞单独设管委会，1989年起称村民委员会[2]。此后归属数变：2004年划入增城市中新镇，2005年转到萝岗区九龙镇，2015年黄埔区接管，2019年起隶属新龙镇[2]。
地理与经济[edit]
村有山地6000亩、耕地1400亩（水田1100亩、旱地300亩）；村民以农业为主，种水稻、蔬菜和绿化苗木，建村已有480多年[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2024年11月，获评「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」[1]。
