迳头村是广州市黄埔区新龙镇的行政村，在镇龙圩南面，辖11个经济合作社，人口约2500人（所记年份不明）^[1]^[2]。

地名由来[edit]

「迳」同「径」，指小路；村建在路的起点，故称迳头^[3]。

迳头大队成立于1958年，随镇龙片归中新公社，1976年改属镇龙公社；1984年建迳头乡，1986年末撤区建镇后设村管委会，1989年称村民委员会^[1]。此后归属数变：2004年划入增城市中新镇，2005年转到萝岗区九龙镇，2014年黄埔区接管，2019年起隶属新龙镇^[1]。

村域约9.2平方公里，有耕地4800余亩、山地约7860亩，下有6条自然村^[2]。集体年收入约12万元，来自林场、厂房出租及农场和广州市南华高尔夫球场的管理费^[2]。村内设有镇龙二中和镇龙二小迳头分校^[2]。

2024年11月，获评「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」^[1]。
