龙溪村位于七步镇的西北部，村委会驻龙溪自然村，西面与狮城镇接壤。[1]

村名来自九龙漈一带「九龙聚溪」的传说。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域东面与象运村相接，南面与登科地为邻，北面与狮城镇陈凤村相连。村内辖龙溪、墓仔、深水岭三个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年设大队，1984年改设村委会。明万历年间，村中彭良士兄弟四人同榜考中生员，一时有名；清代又出过三名生员。[1]

2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
