村子所在的山地地势陡峭，海拔适中，气候湿润，土质肥沃，适合毛竹、松木、杉木及各种农作物生长[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

村子的溪流上游有一口深穴，雅称「龙井」，村民便把这条小溪叫作「龙溪」，村子也因溪得名[1]。
