横江村位于柏洋乡西北部，在溪西水库上游，离乡政府约9公里，离霞浦县城约30公里；县道霞柘线从村中穿过，村子是霞浦通往柘荣的交通要道之一。全村有4个自然村，320户、1390人（村情简介，未注年份）。[1][2]

2021年11月，村被授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2026年1月，村被确定为「福建省2026年度乡村振兴示范村」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建村时村前有一条横坑，村名原作横坑，后改为横口。1976年，因兴建溪西水库，村民无偿出租土地，其中300多人举家迁往其他村落。[1][2]

地理环境与经济[edit]

全村总面积3.49平方千米，平均海拔400至500米，属亚热带季风气候。[2]

耕地425亩，森林4000亩，茶园410亩。[2]
