龙溪村位于南胜镇西部，村域占地4.6平方千米。[1]

村名的传说是：村子背靠八仙山脉，村前小溪环绕，地形如龙在溪上戏水，故称龙溪。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年大队部设在龙溪自然村，遂称龙溪大队，1984年改为龙溪村委会。[1]

地理环境与人口[edit]

耕地1100亩，山地5829亩，全村辖9个村民小组、235户、1075人。[1]

经济与文化[edit]

村民主要种植蜜柚、印度枣、台湾芭乐并外出务工，人均年收入7010元。[1]

2021年11月，该村获评「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
