龙江村在镇境东北，东面与厦门海沧东孚的林后村为邻，西面连着铺透村，北与长泰县接壤。[1]

地名由来[edit]

旧时村边有一条江通往良才村。一次运货的大船在江中沉没，人们相信江中有龙翻滚，村名因此称龙江。[1]

沿革[edit]

1961年自田里生产大队拆出，设龙江生产大队；1984年起角美镇设龙江村；1993年并入龙海市；2012年改用今名，下辖龙江、汀洋、后坑三个自然村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，本村被确定为「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」。[1]
