东华村在深沪镇的西南一隅，南面隔乌漏溪与金井镇山头村为界，西面与龙湖镇仑上村毗邻，距镇政府所在地5.5千米。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村东有一湖，原名沙岗寮东湖后，村民植树造林、防风固沙，生活渐渐富足，遂改称东富后；20世纪40年代，华侨在此办起东华小学，此后便以校名作为村名。[1]

1981年自华山大队划出另设大队，1984年撤大队建村。[1]

经济[edit]

村内有几家较大的企业，主要产品为内衣裤、商标、成衣和坯布。[1]

人口民族[edit]

博雅地名网载，全村有人口1400多人，耕地500亩。[1]

文化[edit]

2020年12月，村入选2020年泉州市中级版「绿盈乡村」。2021年6月，村被命名为「2020年度晋江市平安村（社区）」，评为三星级。2019至2020年间，村获评省级乡村振兴试点村。[1][3]
