长安社区位于县城东郊，与化龙、张埔、卧龙社区和丰山村相邻，离县城仅两公里左右。[1][2]

社区名称定于1945年，取「长安」象征国泰民安之意。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年改称长安乡，1958年为长安大队，1960年称长安村，2005年5月24日起改为社区居委会。[4]

姓氏宗族[edit]

社区村民以蔡、邱两姓为主，另有林、郑、李、陈、王等姓。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

博雅地名网称，境内有天禄岩古刹，始建于南宋初期，寺中供奉一尊来自缅甸的白玉观音，高约5.4米、重约30吨。[2]

文化[edit]

2020年12月，社区被认定为2020年泉州市中级版「绿盈乡村」。[1]
