长安村在平远县东南部，国道206线南北穿过，北邻大柘镇。村内有10个村民小组，在册343户、1342人，面积11.3平方千米，耕地1255亩。[1]
村里的主要作物是优质稻，另有油茶和养殖业；上一年农村经济总收入899万元，农村人均年收入3510元。[1]
地名由来与沿革[edit]
1933年，长田分为五个保，由围里人丘慕吕以「治、安、升、平、庆」五字命名，该村排第二保，取「安」字，所以叫长安。[1]
建国时为长安乡。土地改革期间，长安同长岗合在一起，叫安岗乡，不久以围里乡之名存在。1958年9月，这里成了围里生产大队；25年后的1983年11月，重又称乡。村民委员会成立于1987年，管理区之称见于1989年，1999年4月起定名长安村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年9月，长安村以油茶入选第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。2026年3月，又被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
