东华社区位于鲤城区中心地带，东面以金池巷西侧为界，西面到南俊路东侧，南面以桂坛巷南侧为界，北面临东街北侧。[1][2]

社区里保留着中共泉州中心县委机关旧址，清白源井遗址也在其中，承天寺同样位于社区内。辖区兼有农贸市场、工商贸易与红色文化等功能。[1][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

承天寺位于南俊路36号。据百度百科，此寺又称月台寺，并于1984年重新修建。博雅地名网的概况页也载有承天寺与清白泉等古城旅游资源。[4][3]

据《泉州市市、县级文物保护单位实有名录》，东华社区还有清白源井（明代）、施琅夏园（清代）和黄氏宗祠（清代）。[5]

鲤城区人民政府网站载有中共泉州中心县委机关旧址，名录中另有「中共泉州特支委及红军北上抗日集中地旧址」一项，年代为民国，同在东华社区。[1][5]
