东华村位于中仙镇西部，距镇政府约15千米，西通坂面，南面与德化县接壤，北面与台溪乡相连。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清两代，此地为尤溪县二十三都的辖地，民国时期称东华保。解放初归三华乡；1954年由三华乡分出，单独设乡，隶坂面区。1957年改属中仙区，1958年设东华大队，1984年大队改称东华村。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村部所在地是一处长约三公里的高山盆地，村中水泥路贯穿南北，路旁分布着村部、学校、古刹、名祠和居民楼群。[2]

文化[edit]

村中住有严、施、陈、林等多个姓氏，均为汉族。村里设有小学，并有就近入学的九年义务教育条件。[2]

经济[edit]

村民种植水稻与烤烟，经营山林毛竹、木材、水果与茶叶；地下蕴有金、银与石灰石，村内有石灰厂。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，村庄被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，并被确定为「2021—2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
