龙溪村位于福建省莆田市仙游县游洋镇东南，距镇政府驻地约10公里，村委会设在顶张隆，村境是延寿溪支流的发源地。[1] 村名因洪溪头溪的形状似龙而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

中华人民共和国成立前归古邑乡管辖。此后先后划入第6区、第10区，1956年改属麦斜区，1958年归游洋公社，1961年公社化后称龙溪大队。[2]

关于1984年以后的建制，两处记载不同：概况页称1984年改设游洋乡龙溪，并于1991年更名为游洋镇龙溪村委会；历史沿革页则称1984年成立龙溪村村民委员会。此处并存两说。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村有耕地1320亩，主种水稻与甘薯；山地20000亩，以尾竹、杉木为主。[1]

洪溪头水库库容1万立方米。[1]

灾害[edit]

1958年，洪溪头一带遭泥石流冲毁，房屋受损，是本镇建国以来的重大灾害。[1]

人口[edit]

概况页载全村620户、2380人，分13个村民小组，未注明统计年份。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，龙溪村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[2]
