宫前村是遮浪街道的行政村，含宫前、新湖两个自然村，总人口2226人，以渔业为主。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
遮浪乡于1950年7月由宫前、合港、水龟寮、红坎、四石柱、田寮六片联合设立，宫前是其中之一。1958年宫前、新湖与合港三村编为合港大队；1984年合港另成合港乡，宫前一带于1987年称宫前管区，属遮浪镇。1999年宫前、新湖两村合设宫前村委会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
村民靠刺钓、潜捞和放养为生，海水网箱养殖多年来发展较快，形成捕捞与高档水产养殖并行的格局；不少村民定居香港。[1]博雅地名网说宫前村属南澳半岛旅游区，所辖新湖村是汕尾市文明村。[1]2023年12月，该村党支部书记参加了海边街铁皮房的集中整治。[2]
