长沟村是遮浪街道的行政村，辖5个自然村，总人口3516人，渔农兼营，辖区内有一座省重点电力企业的发电厂。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立初期，长沟、新沟、狮地、径尾、长新诸村与东尾、桂林等村合设遮浪湖联乡，属田墘区。1958年撤乡，设遮浪人民公社，长沟大队辖长沟、新沟、狮地、长新、径尾五村；1984年改长沟乡，1987年改管理区，1999年改村委会。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
渔业以浅海为主，农业种水稻、花生。2020年12月获广东省爱卫会授予“广东省卫生村”称号；2019年9月列入省民主法治示范村创建单位名单。[1]2023年，街道把长沟村作为乡村绿化美化的示范点。[2]
