红坎村是遮浪街道的行政村，含红坎、四石柱两个自然村，总人口2565人，距街道办事处约200米。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1950年7月，红坎、四石柱等村片并入新成立的乡。1958年红坎、四石柱与田寮三村合为田寮大队；1984年红坎与四石柱另组红坎大队，1987年称管理区，1999年设红坎村委会。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
渔业为主，传统作业是扫莲和围刺，有“汕尾虾船，红坎扫莲”的说法。所辖四石柱村是革命老区，村民出资办公益，据称建成了全区第一个生态文明村。[1]在2019年9月公布的省民主法治示范村（社区）创建名单（按2018年度）中，有红坎村。[1]街道计划在村里新建一条建筑面积约3930平方米的滨海商业街。[2]
