黄沙村位于梅州市平远县八尺镇东北部，辖3个村民小组，在册138户、530人，总面积1.94平方千米，耕地338亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国初期称黄沙乡，人民公社化后的1958年改设大队，1965年冬至1975年冬隶属国营楼前农场，其后1983年改回（小）乡，1987年起设村民委员会，期间1989年改称管理区，至1999年4月为黄沙村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
种植甜玉米、脐橙和水稻制种；据该页所载，上一年农村经济总收入291.24万元。[1]
