地名由来[edit]
1949年前称贵竹村，之后改为筀竹村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国初期称筀竹乡，人民公社化后的1958年改设大队，1987年起设村民委员会，期间1989年改称管理区，至1999年4月复为筀竹村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
种植甜玉米、西瓜和烤烟；据该页所载，上一年农村经济总收入608.8万元。[1]
荣誉[edit]
省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位之一（2019年9月公布）；列入省首批乡村振兴示范村的创建名单（2024年4月）。[1]
